David joined Innovative in November of 2005 as Accounting Manager and early on progressed to Controller. Prior to joining Innovative, David’s background progressed from Staff Accountant to Senior Accountant and Systems Analyst with an emphasis in financial planning/analysis, information systems and network design at Kelley Restaurants (Steak & Shake’s largest franchisee at the time).

When he’s not at work, David is a devoted exercise enthusiast, enjoys cooking interesting and difficult foods and staying on top of “what’s happening” everywhere in the world of growing Charlotte and beyond. A dog is in the works for David, with an arrival date of mid-April 2019.
