IDS advertises, recruits and qualifies certified DOT drivers. IDS manages all aspects of DOT files, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. All drivers are DOT certified and their Driver Qualification Files (DQF) are available for your review. IDS handles all off-site employee management including, but not limited to, recruiting, hiring, dispatch, benefits and payroll. We complete background and MVR checks, facilitate drug testing and establish medical clearance. IDS carries workers compensation coverage on all of its employees and all of our drivers participate in IDS’ “Safety & Service Rewards!” quarterly incentive program.

This program allows your company to “test drive” an employee candidate before you hire them as your employee. You have the advantage of checking a driver’s performance before making an employment decision. Dispatched drivers remain on IDS’ payroll until an agreed upon driver conversion time.
Innovative Can Serve as Your Transportation Department
IDS can take over the management of your existing group of drivers and lease them back to you. We manage and dispatch the drivers and handle all related driver administration and maintenance. Your company will not have any tax, payroll, workers compensation or benefits responsibilities. Drivers work for you under your direction and schedule – and IDS handles the rest.
